Terms & Conditions

FOR THE HIGH SCHOOL PHOTO CONTEST

Effective Date: March 1, 2025

1. Eligibility

  • The Student Photo Contest (“Contest”) is open to high school students (grades 9-12) in the United States, including public, private, and homeschool students.

  • Participants must be legal residents of the USA.

  • Each participant may submit up to [X] photos, adhering to the contest guidelines.

  • Employees, judges, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

 

2. Submission Guidelines

  • All photos must be original work created by the contestant.

  • AI-generated or heavily manipulated images will be disqualified.

  • Photos must be submitted in JPEG or PNG format, with a maximum file size of [X MB].

  • By submitting, you agree that your photos may be:

    • Published on the competition website and promotional materials.

    • Included in the official printed photo book.

  • Contest organizers reserve the right to reject or disqualify entries deemed inappropriate, offensive, or in violation of the guidelines.

 

3. Intellectual Property Rights

  • You retain full copyright ownership of your submitted photos.

  • By entering, you grant the Student Photo Contest a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

    • Display, publish, and promote your image(s) on the website, social media, and in printed contest materials.

    • Use your name, likeness, and submitted photo(s) for marketing and promotional purposes without additional compensation.

  • You guarantee that your submission does not infringe on any third-party rights, including copyrights or trademarks.

 

4. Judging & Prizes

  • Photos will be judged based on creativity, composition, technical skill, and artistic merit.

  • All judging decisions are final and not subject to appeal.

  • Winners will be notified by email or phone and must respond within [X] days to claim their prize.

  • The competition reserves the right to replace or modify prizes if necessary.

 

5. Liability & Disclaimers

  • The Student Photo Contest is not responsible for:

    • Lost, late, incomplete, or corrupted entries.

    • Technical malfunctions, server issues, or failed transmissions.

  • By entering, you release the organizers from any liability or claims arising from your participation.

  • The contest reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest if unforeseen issues occur.

 

6. Privacy Policy

  • Personal information (e.g., name, school, email) will be used solely for contest purposes.

  • Contact information will not be shared or sold to third parties.

  • You have the right to request the removal of your data from the contest records.

 

7. Agreement to Terms

By submitting your photos, you:
✅ Confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
✅ Verify that your submission is your original work.
✅ Grant Clickworthy the right to use your photos for promotional purposes.
