Clickworthy is the essential national photography competition for high school students, designed to showcase young talent and celebrate the art of photography. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced photographer, this is your chance to gain national recognition, build your portfolio, and win amazing prizes!

 
Who

This competition is open to all high school students (grades 9-12) in the USA, including:

  • Public, private, and homeschooled students

  • Photography enthusiasts of all skill levels

  • Students looking to showcase their creative vision

 
The Prizes

1st Place for each category will receive:

  • $100 Visa Gift Card

Winners (top 3 for each category) Receive:​

  • A free copy of the official photography book, professionally printed and distributed.

  • An official certificate (both physical and digital) 

  • National exposure through our website and social media.

  • Bragging rights as one of the best young photographers in the country!

All non-winning contestants can purchase the official photo book featuring every submission!

 
How

Entering is simple! Just follow these steps:

1️⃣ Take Your Best Shot – Choose from any of the 3 categories and capture stunning images that showcases your creativity.
2️⃣ Fill Out the Submission Form and Payment Form (see below).
3️⃣ Upload Your Photos – Ensure it meets the required format and quality.
4️⃣ Submit & Share – Spread the word and get ready for the awards!

Spring 2025 Contest Rules - April 30 deadline

  1. The contest is open to all students in Grades 9-12 in public, private, and homeschools within the United States.

  2. Students must submit original image(s) which they photographed. Only images photographed since August 1, 2024, are eligible.

  3. Image files should be named  LastName_FirstName_Category_ImageNumberOrTitle, as this is how the images will be identified and sorted by the contest organizers and judges. File names which do not at least include the entrant's name and the category will not be considered.

  4. Only images submitted by April 30, 2025, 11:59 p.m. Pacific time will be considered.

  5. The submitted image(s) must exemplify the categories of school sports, student life, or creativity. If an entrant wishes to enter images for multiple categories, they can submit the form below multiple times, choosing a different category each time.

  6. Entrants can submit up to two images per category.

  7. Clickworthy has the right to edit, publish, or otherwise duplicate any design entered into the contest without payment to the photographer.

Depending on how many images you are submitting, the following is a break-down of the price:

  1. Per image: $5

  2. If you've entered 1 image per category: $12

  3. If you've entered the max submissions of 6 images: $25

  • IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 18, a legal parent or guardian must make the payment.

  • Please enter the INVOICE # into the appropriate box on the Application Form.

  • Inadequate payment could result in being disqualified; however, you will be contacted first in the event this occurs.
